Do Good Anyway

Seeing Things

Visually speaking, it’s important that we roam about the earth with intention; paying attention, with our eyes. We miss so much of the beauty of life when we just trod through our daily tasks.

When’s the last time you stopped to ponder a blade of grass, or a rock, or an insect, or a cloud in the sky? Or, the expression on a strangers face, or the laughter from a child?

We have become so addicted to comfortable that the slightest change becomes deeply disruptive. The resulting feelings have a negative impact, not only our psyche, but our physical health as well.

Change usually isn’t as bad as we think it is going to be. What if, the next time you’re faced with change, you consider the possibilities optimistically instead of with fear, anxiety and frustration?
